Common-area cameras, badge or code access control, video intercom: in a co-owned building (copropriété), these are voted on at the general meeting of co-owners. The CNIL allows filming of the entrance hall, courtyard, car park or bike store, never the doors, balconies or windows of the flats, with an information sign and footage kept for one month at most, viewable by the managing agent (syndic), the co-owners' council (conseil syndical) or the caretaker. We give the managing agent the technical file and the quote to present at the meeting.

Yes. Our outdoor cameras have infrared night vision and, on some models, colour night vision thanks to a built-in light. Combined with motion detection, they start recording and send an alert, even in the middle of the night.
No. The CNIL's rules only allow you to film your own property: entrance, garden, façade. Private individuals may not film the public highway or a neighbour's property. We adjust the framing and apply digital privacy masks where needed to stay compliant.
It depends on the storage capacity configured. Our systems usually keep 7 to 30 days of recordings. The CNIL recommends not going beyond 30 days for private systems. Businesses may be subject to specific legal obligations.
