An access control installation includes a controller, a reader on each door, an electric strike or magnetic lock, and the software that manages access rights. We install, wire and configure the whole system, then train the person who will manage the badges.

Business

One badge per employee, rights that follow working hours and departments, and an entry log that complies with the rules of the CNIL, France's data protection authority. A departing employee's badge is switched off the same day.

What sets the price of access control

The quote depends on four things: the number of doors to equip, the type of reader (badge, code or biometrics), the cabling to run between the doors and the controller, and the number of badges to program. A keypad on a service door and a multi-door system for a head office are not priced the same way.

We only give a firm price once we have seen the premises: the survey is free and the quote is itemised line by line. The system works without a subscription; a maintenance contract remains an option.

What types of access control system are there?

There are several types: RFID badges (the most common in businesses), keypads with a PIN code, biometrics (fingerprint or facial recognition), video intercoms and smartphone apps. Supra Sécurité offers and installs all of these systems, often in combination.

What is Vigik, and does a block of flats need it?

Vigik is the French system that gives service providers (La Poste, network operators, public services) access to the common areas of blocks of flats: the controller checks their badge at each entry. In a co-owned building, in Paris as in the Hauts-de-Seine, the controller we install is Vigik-compatible; residents use their own badges.

Can access control be installed in a co-owned building?

Yes, once the general meeting of co-owners has voted for it. Supra Sécurité helps you prepare the file for the meeting and carries out the installation in coordination with your managing agent, within the constraints of the building.

Is badge access control more secure than a key?

Yes. If a badge is lost, you simply deactivate it remotely, without changing the locks. The system keeps a history of entries, so you know who came in and at what time.

Does the system work without a subscription?

Yes. You own the access control system outright and manage it on site or from a computer. A maintenance contract is offered as an option to businesses that want regular follow-up of their installation.
