Which alarm for your property in Paris and the Hauts-de-Seine?
Installed budgets including VAT, from the price scale of our online estimator (in French), for 3 doors or windows protected. The firm price is set after a free technical visit.
House or flat
Wireless alarm fitted without drilling in a flat, including rented flats: opening and motion detectors, siren, control from the app. In a house, detection also covers the garden and garage entrances.
Flat: €750 to €1,350 incl. VAT; house: €850 to €1,550 incl. VAT.
Shop-window protection, a badge keypad for your staff, a discreet panic button, and remote monitoring with video verification when your insurer requires it.
Shop: €950 to €1,650 incl. VAT; offices: €1,000 to €1,800 incl. VAT.
Common-area cameras, badge or code access control, video intercom: in a co-owned building (copropriété), these are voted on at the general meeting of co-owners. The CNIL, France's data protection authority, allows filming of the entrance hall, courtyard, car park or bike store, never the doors, balconies or windows of the flats, with an information sign and footage kept for one month at most, viewable by the managing agent (syndic), the co-owners' council (conseil syndical) or the caretaker. We give the managing agent the technical file and the quote to present at the meeting.
3 common-area cameras with a recorder: €1,900 to €3,600 incl. VAT; building access control: €1,550 to €3,600 incl. VAT.
In 2025, 7,072 residential burglaries were recorded in Paris, according to the statistics service of the French Ministry of the Interior (SSMSI): down 23.4% on the previous year, or 5.05 per 1,000 homes, against 5.6 on average in France. A professionally installed intruder alarm detects any opening, sets off the siren and alerts you in real time on your smartphone.

The 2025 fall is no reason to relax: the gaps between arrondissements remain marked (6.05 per 1,000 homes in the 16th, 5.13 in the 17th), and Parisian flats are mostly targeted during the day, through the front door, while people are at work.

Frequently asked questions: burglar alarm installer in Paris
How much does it cost to install an alarm in Paris?
According to the price scale of our online estimator, allow €750 to €1,350 incl. VAT, installed, for a flat and €850 to €1,550 incl. VAT for a house, with 3 doors or windows protected. The firm price is set after a free technical visit, with a detailed quote.
Does an alarm really deter burglars?
That is what burglars themselves say, with one caveat. In a 2013 study by the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, based on a survey of 422 burglars held in prisons in the United States, 83% said they try to find out whether an alarm is present before acting, and 60% said they would pick another target if an alarm was present. Of those who discover an alarm during an attempt, half give up. The study relies on what the burglars said and was funded by an alarm industry foundation: it gives an order of magnitude, not a guarantee. An alarm complements a solid door and sensible precautions when you are away; it does not replace them.
How quickly can you install an alarm in Paris?
Supra Sécurité offers on-site intervention within 48 hours in every Paris arrondissement and in the Hauts-de-Seine. A standard alarm installation takes 2 to 4 hours, depending on the layout.
Do I need a subscription for an alarm installed by Supra Sécurité?
No. Our alarm systems work with no mandatory subscription, and you own your equipment. Remote monitoring, by operators 24/7, is an option you can add; it is never compulsory.
Which alarm should I choose for a flat in Paris?
For a flat in Paris, we recommend a wireless system with opening detectors on the doors and windows, one or two motion detectors and an indoor siren, all connected to your smartphone so that you can control it remotely. We size the system during the free survey.
Can an alarm lower my home insurance premium?
Often, depending on your insurer: some offer a discount for an alarm installed by a professional. Conditions vary from one insurer to another, so check the terms of your policy before asking for a quote.
Do I need the co-owners’ approval to install an alarm in a Paris flat?
Not inside your own home: you are free to install an alarm there, whether you rent or own, especially a wireless one that needs no drilling. The approval of the co-owners is only needed if the installation affects the common parts or the façade, for example an outdoor siren. In that case, we give you the technical file to present to the managing agent.
How many burglaries are there really in Paris?
7,072 residential burglaries were recorded in Paris in 2025, according to the French Ministry of the Interior (SSMSI), or 5.05 per 1,000 homes. That is 23.4% fewer than in 2024, but the level varies widely from one arrondissement to another: the 16th (6.05 per 1,000 homes) remains above the Paris average.
What should I do before a long absence from my Paris home?
Three complementary steps: an alarm you can control remotely, so that you are alerted immediately; remote monitoring with alarm verification, so that an operator checks the alert and informs the police on your behalf; and Opération Tranquillité Vacances, a free police scheme in which patrols keep an eye on your home while you are away. You can sign up for it online or at your local police station.
Which arrondissements do you cover?
All of Paris, from the 1st to the 20th arrondissement, with on-site intervention within 48 hours. Our base in Neuilly-sur-Seine puts us on the doorstep of western Paris, a few minutes from the 16th and the 17th.
How many detectors does a house or a flat need?
It depends on the floor area and the number of entry points. For a two-bedroom flat (three main rooms), allow 2 to 3 motion detectors and 3 to 4 opening contacts. For a 150 m² house, allow 4 to 6 detectors and 5 to 8 contacts. Supra Sécurité carries out a free survey to size your system precisely.
Can my alarm trigger a police response?
Yes, with remote monitoring. The monitoring centre can contact the police when an alarm is confirmed. Its operators first verify the alert, by phone call or video check, before calling for an intervention, to avoid false alarms.
01Control panel: dual power supply, mains and battery, with dual GSM and IP transmission.
02Dual-technology motion detectors: fewer false alarms, and protection against masking.
03Magnetic contacts on doors and windows: they detect opening and tampering.
04Glass-break detectors: acoustic detection of broken glass, from 7 to 9 m away.
05Outdoor 110 dB siren, with its own battery and a tamper-proof housing.
06Keypad and RFID badges: arming and disarming for several users.
07Smartphone app: remote control, event history and alerts.
